Role Description This is a contract, hybrid role for a Fashion Design Intern, based in Jaipur, India, with some flexibility for remote work. The intern will assist in designing collections, sourcing textiles, creating mock-ups, and supporting the production process. Responsibilities include collaborating on design projects, assisting with graphic and fashion styling, and ensuring prototypes and final products meet quality standards. Additionally, the intern will contribute to trend research, and design development, and coordinate with artisans and production teams. Qualifications Proficiency in Fashion Design and an understanding of Textiles Fundamental skills in Graphic Design for creating design elements Knowledge of Fashion Styling and an eye for aesthetics Basic Sewing techniques and understanding of garment construction Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills Ability to balance creative thinking with practical design requirements Passion for sustainable and ethical fashion processes Relevant academic background in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related fields
