About the Role We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on backend engineering, scalable web applications, API systems, and intelligent software workflows. In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to Ruby on Rails development, backend architecture, RESTful APIs, database systems, and application performance optimization, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world software engineering challenges. Your expertise will contribute to improving AI systems used for intelligent development workflows, backend automation, and scalable platform engineering. Responsibilities Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to Ruby on Rails development and backend systems Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency Assess AI outputs for code quality, scalability, performance, security, and maintainability Identify bugs, inefficient implementations, architecture gaps, or API design issues in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback Support workflows involving Rails applications, database management, authentication systems, cloud deployment, and backend optimization Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on software engineering and intelligent coding workflows Requirements Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails development Experience building RESTful APIs, backend services, and scalable web applications Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Sidekiq, Git, Docker, or similar backend technologies is preferred Understanding of software architecture, database optimization, testing frameworks, and deployment workflows Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment Why Join Us Competitive hourly pay: ₹1500 – ₹2000/hour Fully remote with flexible working hours Opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI and software engineering research Exposure to intelligent development systems and modern backend technologies Flexible project-based opportunities with global teams
