About the Role

Location : Alandi Phata, Chakan, Pune Experience : 1 to 4 years Education : B.E., B.Tech, MBA Travel : 3 to 5 days a month, across India CTC : INR 4.5 to 6 LPA At Agrograde, we are building India's most robust AI-powered grading and sorting machines for fresh produce, and we need someone who can take charge of how Agrograde shows up to the world. From marketing campaigns to client follow-ups to running our presence at exhibitions, this role is built for someone who likes both telling the story and closing the loop. This is not a slide-deck job. You will work directly with the founder, brief designers, talk to exporters and traders, plan campaigns, and travel to client sites when needed. From day one, your work will shape how India's agri supply chain discovers and trusts Agrograde. About Agrograde Agrograde is rebuilding how India's agri supply chain handles fresh produce. We design and manufacture AI-powered grading and sorting machines for food and agri supply chains. Every machine is built in our Chakan, Pune facility and engineered for the real conditions of Indian packhouses. Our systems combine deep learning, high-resolution machine vision, and rugged mechanical design to deliver grading accuracy and reliability that was out of reach for most of the supply chain until now. Our work has been recognised by NITI Aayog, Mahindra Startup Leap, Samunnati, BSE Impact, Social Alpha, NVIDIA Inception, Bosch DNA, IIM Ahmedabad Ventures, and Villgro. Roles and responsibilities • Own end-to-end marketing operations including content, social media, email, brochures, case studies, and the marketing calendar. • Plan and execute PR campaigns. Pitch stories to publications, journalists, and industry platforms that matter to our buyers. • Brief designers and agencies, review creatives, and give clear first-pass feedback on social posts, brochures, videos, and campaign visuals. • Generate, qualify, and follow up on inbound and outbound leads. Make sure no good lead falls through the cracks. • Find the right points of contact at target companies including traders, exporters, food processors, and FPCs. • Plan and run our presence at exhibitions, expos, and industry events, from booth design and brochures to on-ground follow-ups. • Draft client proposals and capability documents in coordination with the founder, and own the back-and-forth till the deal closes or moves forward. • Travel 3 to 5 days a month to meet clients across India and represent Agrograde on the ground at exhibitions and site visits. Requirements • 0 to 4 years of experience in marketing, business development, B2B sales, communications, or a related function. Freshers and MBA grads are welcome. • Strong written and spoken communication. You can draft an email, a pitch, or a campaign brief without hand-holding. • A real knack for marketing. You notice good campaigns when you see them, understand why they work, and have ideas of your own. • A good visual eye. You may not be a designer, but you can tell clean design from cluttered design and give clear feedback to designers. • Comfort speaking with senior decision makers at trading companies, exporters, food processors, and FPCs in Hindi and English. A regional language is a bonus. • Willingness to travel 3 to 5 days a month across India based on client and event locations. • A doer's mindset. You finish what you start, follow up without being chased, and prefer shipping work over polishing it forever. We care more about people who execute than people who only score well in interviews. Preferred candidates • Prior internships, projects, or work experience in B2B marketing or sales, especially in agri, food processing, supply chain, or industrial products. • Exposure to design tools like Canva or Figma, or experience working with PR agencies, design vendors, or freelancers. • Comfort with LinkedIn outreach, basic CRM tools like HubSpot or Zoho, and Google Workspace.
