Company Description Asia Maritime Services Pvt Ltd (part of Asia Group of Companies) is a Mumbai-based crewing/marine recruitment agency with over 30 years of experience in the maritime industry. Licensed by the Directorate General of Shipping (RPSL) and certified under ISO 9001:2015, MLC 2006 we place seafarers across a wide range of vessel types globally for our International clients. We are a professionally run, growing organisation looking for a reliable and organised individual to join our front-office team. Job description Recruitment Executive to manage recruitment of seafarers and crew for global clients. Experience required 0 - 3 Years, Freshers will also be considered if they can show part-time/intern work experience Salary: ₹ 2-3 Lacs per year Please apply only if you accept salary level mentioned. Location: Mumbai(Colaba) Key Responsibilities SOURCING & JOB POSTING Search and source seafarer candidates across platforms and the company database Post job vacancies on maritime recruitment platforms and job boards as per active requirements CV SCREENING & CANDIDATE MANAGEMENT Screen and review CVs against vessel type, rank, certification, and client requirements Verify seafarer documents CDC, STCW certificates, passport validity, flag state endorsements, and visa requirements Speak with candidates to assess availability, interest, and suitability; communicate joining dates, salary, and contract details Prepare and send candidate shortlists and CVs to shipowner/operator clients in the required format Follow up on candidate status, interview feedback, and client decisions CREW DATABASE & TALENT POOL MANAGEMENT Enter and maintain all candidate profiles, applications, and seafarer data accurately in the company CRM / crew database Build and organise a structured talent pool categorised by rank, vessel type, flag endorsements, availability, and document status Keep candidate records up to date track document expiry dates, availability changes, and application outcomes Ensure data hygiene remove duplicates, flag incomplete profiles, and follow data entry SOPs consistently Retrieve and filter candidates quickly from the database when a new vacancy arises, reducing sourcing turnaround time COORDINATION & ADMIN Coordinate with the crewing operations team to ensure timely documentation and pre-joining requirements are met Maintain recruitment trackers and generate simple status reports for open positions when required Candidate Profile Graduate in any stream; a degree in HR, Business, or Maritime Management is a plus 0–3 years of experience; freshers are welcome to apply Strong written and spoken English — you will be communicating with seafarers and clients directly Comfortable working on a computer — MS Office, email, spreadsheets, and web-based platforms; prior exposure to any CRM or database tool is a bonus High attention to detail — data accuracy in candidate records is critical to this role Organised and able to manage multiple open positions and database entries simultaneously Prior exposure to maritime, shipping, HR, or recruitment is an advantage but not mandatory Mumbai-based candidates preferred; must be able to commute to Colaba office daily What We Offer Structured training and mentoring — full SOPs provided from day one Exposure to international maritime recruitment across tankers, bulk carriers, offshore, and specialist vessels Work with a certified, established company with 30+ years experience — RPSL licensed, ISO 9001:2015, MLC 2006 compliant Growth opportunity within crewing operations and business development and to work with global clients across Europe, Middle East, Asia etc.
