About the Role

Job Title: Technical Program Manager (TPM) Intern Location: Hyderabad Duration: 6 Months (Full-Time) in office Company: HugoHub Stipend: 25,000 rupees per month About HugoHub HugoHub is a standalone B2B technology platform consisting of both frontend experience layer and backend platforms that offer a full suite of modular banking services through a single integration. HugoHub comprises five key Product Pillars: 1. Accounts, Wallets & Payments, 2. Card Programmes, 3. Wealth, Savings & Investments, 4. Full Stack BaaS (Banking as a Service) and 5. Bank of API's Using these Product Pillars, our clients can build financial products or full Digital Banks that delight their customers in any part of the world. The Role As a TPM Intern, you will spend 6 months at the heart of our product and client delivery engine. Your mission is to manage the lifecycle of complex technical projects that bridge our frontend with our modular backend services. You aren't just managing a schedule; you are ensuring that our single integration promise remains robust, scalable, and easy for our B2B clients to adopt. Key Responsibilities Technical Strategy: While you aren't necessarily writing the code, you must understand it deeply enough to challenge assumptions. Bridge the Gap: Translate complex technical constraints into business impacts for stakeholders. System Design Input: Participate in architecture reviews to ensure the technical path aligns with the long-term product roadmap. Cross-Functional Orchestration: Act as the central point of contact between Design, Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk and Compliance teams to ensure modular banking features are delivered on time. Release Management: Coordinating release cut-offs, managing versioning, and ensuring the SET (QA) team has the environment ready for integration testing. Integration Lifecycle Management: Support the technical rollout of our APIs, ensuring that the single integration path is well-tested and documented for B2B partners. Deep Domain Expertise: Develop an exhaustive understanding of the product's functional logic, user workflows, and business rules to ensure technical designs align with customer needs. Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies and technical bottlenecks before they impact the critical path. Reporting & Metrics: Develop dashboards to track project health, system uptime goals, and feature adoption rates. Process Improvements: Audit existing workflows to identify friction points (e.g., communication gaps, manual data entry, or slow approval loops). Design and implement standardized templates and automated workflows (Jira, or internal tools) to reduce team toil. What We're Looking For Academic Pursuit: Completed a Bachelors program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related engineering field. Ideal candidate is an engineer with a strong programming knowledge. System Thinking: You understand how a frontend layer communicates with backend microservices via APIs. Communication: Ability to explain a modular banking service to a business stakeholder while also discussing API latency with an engineer. Problem Solver: A proactive mindset—you don't just report problems; you bring three potential solutions to the table. Fintech Curiosity: A passion for the B2B SaaS space and a desire to understand the mechanics of digital banking (KYC, Ledgers, Payments etc). Internship Outcomes By the end of this 6-month program, you will have: Managed at least 2 major features from ideation to production. Gained deep expertise in B2B platform architecture and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS). Built a portfolio of technical project management wins in a high-growth fintech environment.
