Learning Content Developer (Transformation)
About the Role
Success is demonstrated by the ability to: Independently build high quality learning assets from provided designs and content Translate written learning content into engaging, accurate and learner ready materials Use learning development tools efficiently to deliver at pace Apply sound judgement around layout, structure, accessibility and learner experience Collaborate effectively with Learning Content Designers and SMEs across regions Learning Asset Development Build learning assets based on provided learning designs, scripts and content outlines Develop a range of learning materials, including: Instructor led training materials (facilitator guides, participant workbooks, slides) Digital and self paced learning assets Job aids, quick reference guides and performance support tools Video based learning assets (scripted and templated formats) Ensure assets are clear, consistent, learner friendly and ready for deployment Key skills: learning development, asset build, attention to detail, quality execution Multi Format Learning Production Translate content into appropriate formats based on delivery needs and guidance Apply consistent layout, structure and formatting across learning assets Adapt materials for different audiences, regions or delivery contexts when required Support blended and campaign based learning solutions through asset production Key skills: multiformat development, visual clarity, learner experience awareness AI Enabled Content Development (Applied) Use AI enabled tools to support: Drafting and refining learning content Creating content variations (e.g. shorter versions, different audiences) Supporting video scripts, examples and practice elements Apply human judgement to ensure accuracy, clarity and alignment with learning intent Follow guidance and standards for ethical and responsible AI use Key skills: AI assisted drafting, editorial judgement, responsible use of tools Content Writing & Editing Support Support learning content writing Edit and refine learning content for clarity, consistency and learner focus Adapt existing content into different formats (e.g. longform to job aid) Maintain a clear, professional and learner centred writing style Work with SMEs to rapidly translate subject matter content into learning assets Key skills: learning focused writing, editing, adaptation Collaboration & Global Delivery Work closely with Learning Content Designers to clarify intent and requirements Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders as needed to validate accuracy Operate effectively within global delivery models and time zones Manage tasks and priorities to meet agreed delivery timelines Key skills: collaboration, responsiveness, delivery discipline Tools, Platforms & Quality Standards Use learning development and authoring tools to build assets efficiently Follow ERM learning design standards, templates and accessibility principles Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency and usability Prepare assets for deployment via LMS/LXP or workplace platforms Key skills: tool fluency, quality control, accessibility awareness
