Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Procurement Executive. The role involves managing purchasing processes, issuing and tracking purchase orders, and ensuring timely and efficient procurement of materials and services. Key responsibilities include liaising with suppliers, monitoring procurement activities to align with project schedules, and analyzing cost structures to optimize expenses. The Procurement Executive will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational effectiveness. To provide end-to-end support for the business cycle, from initial lead generation and quoting to final delivery and reporting. This role acts as the central hub between suppliers, logistics providers, and clients to ensure operational excellence. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales Support & Order Processing RFQ Management: Draft and distribute Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to global and local suppliers. Quoting: Prepare professional customer-facing quotes, ensuring accurate margins and technical specifications. Order Fulfillment: Process Purchase Orders (POs) and Sales Orders, ensuring all data is accurately captured in the company's accounting system. 2. Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination Supplier Liaison: Maintain regular contact with suppliers to monitor production timelines and stock availability. Freight Management: Arrange domestic and international shipping, including gathering weights/dimensions and coordinating with freight forwarders for timely pickups. Status Reporting: Generate and maintain a Weekly Order Status Report to provide clear visibility on lead times, transit status, and potential bottlenecks. 3. Lead Generation & Digital Presence LinkedIn Management: Execute a basic content strategy by posting company updates, industry news, and project highlights to build brand authority. Proactive Prospecting: Identify and qualify new business leads using provided databases or industry lists. Outreach: Conduct initial warm outreach via LinkedIn or email to introduce the business's capabilities to key stakeholders. Qualifications Experience in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Purchase Management Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate suppliers, pricing, and procurement decisions Excellent Communication skills for vendor negotiations and internal coordination Proficiency in procurement software and tools is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Relevant experience in the maritime or logistics industry is advantageous Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred Email your cv at - [HIDDEN TEXT] , [HIDDEN TEXT]
