About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Full Stack Intern to join our dynamic team remotely from India for a 3-month full-time internship. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the development of our flagship product, Village MVP, by working on both frontend and backend systems. As a Full Stack Intern, you will have meaningful ownership of features, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment. Your contributions will play a crucial role in shaping the product's trajectory and ensuring its success in real-world applications. Qualifications The ideal candidate is currently pursuing or has recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a reputable institution such as IIT or IIIT. You should possess strong hands-on experience in developing native iOS applications using Swift, with a solid understanding of iOS SDKs and Apple frameworks. Proficiency in SwiftUI and UIKit architectures is essential, along with a proven track record of building scalable, production-grade mobile applications. Candidates should have a deep understanding of mobile application lifecycle management, state management, concurrency, memory optimization, and performance tuning. Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, integrating backend systems, and working with databases, authentication mechanisms, and cloud infrastructure is highly valued. Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development practices is required. Strong debugging, testing, and performance optimization skills are essential to succeed in this role. Responsibilities Build and maintain core features of the Village MVP iOS application, ensuring high quality and performance. Develop scalable, clean, and maintainable frontend architecture following industry best practices. Contribute to backend integrations, API development, and data handling workflows to support the app's functionality. Implement UI/UX designs with a focus on user experience, performance, and responsiveness. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and leadership teams to align development efforts with product goals. Participate in architectural discussions, technical decision-making, and code reviews to uphold quality standards. Debug, test, and optimize applications for reliability, speed, and efficiency. Document code and processes, and adhere to clean engineering practices to ensure maintainability. Engage in rapid iteration cycles typical of startup environments, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
