Location: Nagpur (Office + On-Field across Maharashtra) Duration: 6 months Stipend: ₹15,000/month Type: Full-time Internship About Human Loops Human Loops is a human-in-the-loop AI operations company powering DATA for the next generation of AI and robotics systems. We collect, annotate, and quality-check the real-world data that teaches machines how to see, move, and understand human environments. Our egocentric video data collection program spans household, commercial/industrial, and restaurant/retail settings — capturing first-person perspective data that trains robots and AI models for real-world deployment. The Role You'll sit at the intersection of operations and data collection work from on-field work. This is not a desk-only internship expect to split your time between our Nagpur office and on-site visits to factories, retail outlets, restaurants, and households where data collection is happening. You'll learn how data collection for Frontier Model labs works. What You'll Do Coordinate egocentric video data collection across our three verticals — Household, Commercial/Industrial, and Restaurant/Retail Travel to client sites and collection locations across Maharashtra to supervise on-ground data collection teams Supervise factory workers and field operators on a daily basis — set expectations, manage shift discipline, enforce SOPs, and keep collection on schedule Act as tech support for field operators — troubleshoot capture devices, resolve recording issues, and ensure data quality standards are met on-site Run pre-shoot site assessments: scope the environment, brief participants, set up equipment, and ensure compliance with PII and consent protocols Track collection progress, log hours captured, flag rejected data, and report daily metrics back to the operations lead Liaise between field teams, internal data ops, and clients to keep projects on schedule Help refine SOPs and training materials as we scale the program What You'll Learn How leading AI labs and robotics companies use human-collected data to build foundation models End-to-end project operations: scoping, planning, execution, QC, delivery Field operations management — running distributed teams across multiple sites The commercial side of AI data: pricing, client expectations, compliance (DPDPA, IP, PII) Who We're Looking For Independent operator — you take ownership, work with minimal supervision, and figure things out when the playbook doesn't exist yet Hands-on with devices — very comfortable using laptops, smartphones, capture equipment, and apps; you're the person friends call when their tech breaks Carries authority — confident supervising factory workers and field teams daily; can hold the line on quality and discipline without being abrasive Recent graduate or final-year student in any discipline (engineering, operations, business, or related) Comfortable with travel — roughly 60-70% on-field across Maharashtra Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi Willing to commit 6 months full-time Nice to Have Prior internship or project experience in operations, field work, or production coordination Two-wheeler license and willingness to travel within city for site visits What You Get ₹15,000/month stipend Direct exposure to a fast-growing Data operations company working with global clients Travel and accommodation covered for all on-field assignments Mentorship from the founding and operations team Pre-placement offer (PPO) consideration based on performance Note: This is a paid internship.Skills: devices,data collection,travel,operations
