For more information, please visitwww.inceptionai.ai Role Overview The QA Engineer at Inception is responsible for defining and executing quality assurance strategies to ensure the reliability, performance, and integrity of products. The role focuses on end-to-end testing, defect management, and continuous quality improvement. This role is a full-time position based in India (remote). Key Responsibilities • Define and implement QA strategies, frameworks, and testing standards • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts • Perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and reliability • Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure full test coverage • Validate end-to-end system performance across integrated components • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools • Monitor product quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives • Maintain documentation of test processes, results, and quality benchmarks • Provide clear reporting on quality status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • Experience in QA and software testing environments • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and frameworks • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) • Programming knowledge (Python, Java, or JavaScript) • Experience with CI/CD environments and release validation • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills The successful candidate will be engaged via an external workforce partner in line with Inception's operating model in the region.
