About the Role As a GIS Developer, you will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise GIS systems. You will contribute to delivering high-quality spatial solutions aligned with corporate standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain GIS applications and enterprise GIS platforms Architect, manage, and deploy ArcGIS solutions Design and implement spatial ETL workflows using FME and other tools Develop scripts and applications using Python, JavaScript, and Esri technologies Perform testing, debugging, QA, and automate test processes Document spatial solutions in line with corporate standards Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support GIS initiatives Ensure compliance with governance, safety, and business standards What We're Looking For Qualifications Degree in GIS, Geomatics, Remote Sensing, Surveying, Applied Geography, or related field Technical Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with: ArcGIS Enterprise (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS) Esri JavaScript API 4.x FME and ETL processes VertiGIS suite (or similar platforms) Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript Experience developing GIS solutions using Esri COTS applications Knowledge of DevOps practices and agile methodologies Strong troubleshooting, testing, and debugging skills Desirable Skills Experience with Geocortex / VertiGIS Studio Familiarity with OpenLayers, HTML5, CSS, XML, JSON, SQL Core Competencies Analytical thinking and problem-solving Strong communication and stakeholder engagement Ability to manage priorities and work independently Proactive and flexible approach to work
