Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Intern role located in Guwahati. The Sales Intern will be responsible for engaging with prospective clients, managing customer relationships, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the sales team in achieving targets. Day-to-day tasks include identifying sales opportunities, assisting in client interactions, coordinating training sessions with stakeholders, and contributing to the execution of sales strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to grow their skills in a dynamic and team-oriented environment. What You'll Do Build and maintain targeted prospect lists (LinkedIn, local directories) for hospitality, retail, auto & lifestyle brands. Execute outbound outreach (cold emails, LinkedIn/WhatsApp messages) and track responses in our CRM. Qualify inbound leads (website forms, social DMs, referrals) using BANT and pass hot leads to the Acquisition Specialist. Keep CRM data clean: log calls, emails, meeting notes and update pipeline stages daily. Support call prep, proposal drafting, and on‑boarding hand‑off for closed deals. Observe competitor activity & client feedback during outreach or field visits and share quick insights. Participate in weekly sales enablement sessions, role‑plays, and training to sharpen your pitch. Submit a simple weekly activity report (leads added, touches made, MQLogs/SQLs generated). Who We're Looking For Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related field. No prior sales experience required—any campus ambassador, freelancing, volunteering, or project work that involved communication/persuasion is a plus. Strong written & verbal English (Hindi/Assamese helpful). Comfortable with spreadsheets, basic CRM tools, and phone/video calls. Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, professional, and a team player.
