As an AI product prototype engineer, your primary responsibility is to quickly convert product ideas, customer problems, and internal requirements into working prototypes for web apps, mobile apps, WhatsApp flows, AI bots, and internal tools. You will work closely with the founder and product team to understand business problems, design practical user flows, build functional prototypes using AI-assisted coding tools, and rapidly improve them based on customer and team feedback. This role is not focused on production-grade software development or pure UI/UX design, but instead combines product thinking, rapid prototyping, experimentation, and basic coding. You will be expected to build, test, learn, and iterate quickly while using modern AI tools to create usable prototypes that can later be handed over to the engineering team for scalable product development. The role also involves documenting workflows, product logic, customer feedback, edge cases, and handover notes to ensure smooth execution by the engineering team. Key Responsibilities Convert product ideas, customer problems, and internal requirements into working prototypes for web apps, mobile apps, WhatsApp flows, AI bots, BotFlow journeys, and internal tools Apply AI-first thinking to product ideas by identifying opportunities where AI, automation, agents, bots, recommendations, decision-making, or intelligent workflows can improve customer experience and reduce manual effort Collaborate closely with the Founder and Product Team to understand problems, clarify use cases, define user flows, and quickly build functional prototypes for testing with customers or internal teams Design workflows by identifying how AI can simplify, automate, personalize, predict, recommend, or improve the user journey instead of only digitizing manual processes Develop functional prototypes across frontend systems, mobile apps, automation flows, chatbot journeys, APIs, and simple backend/database logic wherever required Build customer-facing applications, mobile apps, web apps, WhatsApp journeys, AI bots, BotFlow experiences, and internal operational tools Utilize modern AI coding tools, automation platforms, product tools, and prototyping frameworks to create fast, usable, and testable prototypes Create prototypes that effectively validate ideas, collect feedback, and test workflows without necessarily being production-grade Participate in customer feedback discussions with the Founder or Product Manager to understand customer pain points, observe reactions to prototypes, and identify improvement areas Iterate quickly on prototypes based on feedback from customers, management, product, support, and engineering teams Document product logic, user flows, assumptions, edge cases, customer feedback, and final prototype behavior in a structured format for the engineering team Prepare clear handover documentation for engineering teams to convert validated prototypes into secure, scalable, and production-grade products Measure success through speed of prototype development, quality of AI-first product thinking, usefulness of customer feedback, number of validated ideas, and smooth engineering handovers About Company: QDC (Quick Dry Cleaning Software) is a B2B vertical SaaS POS and business management application designed for global retail laundry and dry-cleaning businesses.
