Travel Consultant – Duties & Job Description Selling travel packages, providing expert travel advice, and ensuring customers have a smooth and memorable travel experience. The role involves sales, customer service, itinerary planning, and maintaining client relationships. Key Duties & Responsibilities. 1. Sales & Customer Acquisition Promote and sell travel packages (domestic & international). Handle inbound inquiries via calls, WhatsApp, email, and social media. Convert leads into confirmed bookings through persuasive communication. Upsell activities, tours, hotel upgrades, travel insurance, etc. 2. Travel Planning & Consultation Understand customer needs, budget, and travel preferences. Provide expert guidance on destinations, visas, itineraries, weather, and travel requirements. Create customized travel itineraries and quotations. 3. Booking & Operations Book flights, hotels, transfers, sightseeing, and holiday packages. Coordinate with vendors, hotels, airlines, and tour operators. Ensure all bookings are error-free and delivered on time. 4. Customer Service Assist clients before, during, and after their trip. Resolve travel issues such as rescheduling, cancellations, or emergencies. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
