The selected individual will be tasked with executing and analyzing research projects focused on microbial consortia and formulation development aimed at enhancing plant growth and function. Proficiency in microbial biofertilizers, consortia development, PGPR, and the assessment of their impact on plant growth promotion, along with knowledge of other biostimulants and specific agricultural practices tailored for different crops, is essential for the successful completion of the research project. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to independently carry out and analyze experiments. Key responsibilities Compile raw data from field trials conducted across crops, geographies, seasons, and treatment groups. Validate data quality, identify missing values, inconsistencies, outliers, and formatting issues. Standardize and normalize datasets so that trials from different crops, locations, and replications can be compared appropriately. Perform statistical analysis on agronomic parameters such as yield, vigor, germination, growth, leaf area, biomass, disease reduction, quality traits, and related observations. Conduct analyses such as ANOVA, mean separation, significance testing, correlation, trend analysis, and basic multivariate comparisons. Generate treatment-wise summaries, crop-wise comparisons, and location-wise performance reports. Interpret statistical outputs and convert them into practical recommendations for technical, R&D, and commercial teams. Support preparation of summary tables, charts, presentations, and decision notes for internal review. Work closely with agronomy, field trial, breeding, product development, and regulatory teams. Help identify which treatments should be taken forward based on consistency, significance, crop response, and business relevance. Maintain analysis templates, databases, and documentation for repeatable use across future trials. Contribute to building a robust data interpretation framework across multiple crops and trial stages. Take raw trial sheets from different teams and convert them into analysis-ready datasets. Deliver accurate and timely statistical summaries. Highlight which treatments are significantly superior, comparable, or inconsistent. Required qualifications Master's degree in Biostatistics preferably fresher Strong academic foundation in statistics, experimental design, and data interpretation. Comfort working with agricultural or biological datasets. Required skills Good understanding of statistics, experimental design, and hypothesis testing. Ability to clean, structure, and analyze raw datasets from multiple sources. Working knowledge of Excel is essential.
