Business Development Executive
About the Role
Responsibilities Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest Source new sales opportunities through follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads. Understanding customers needs and identifying sales opportunities. Answering potential customers questions and sending additional information per email. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure Keeping up with product and service information and updates. Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers. Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services. Staying informed about competing products and services. Upselling products and services. Researching and qualifying new leads. Closing sales and achieving sales targets. Requirements And Skills Proven inside sales experience, previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred. Track record of over-achieving quota Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools Experience working with Sales CRM Excellent verbal and written communications skills Strong listening and presentation skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively BA/BS degree or equivalent
