A Presales Consultant for Datacenter and Networking acts as the technical bridge between sales teams and clients, designing tailored infrastructure solutions (server, storage, network, ) to meet business needs. They lead technical presentations, create proposals, conduct demonstrations, and provide high-level expertise to secure project wins, typically requiring CCNP/JNCIP certification or equivalent experience. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Architecture: Develop complex Datacenter and Networking solutions, including Routing/Switching, SD-WAN, and Cloud integration. Client Engagement & Presentations: Act as the technical lead in client meetings, understanding requirements and delivering persuasive presentations. Proposal Creation (RFP/RFI): Prepare high-quality technical proposals, architectures, and Scope of Work (SOW) documents. Demos & Proof of Concepts (POC): Conduct technical demonstrations and manage Proof of Concepts to prove solution viability. Sales Strategy Collaboration: Work with account managers to develop winning strategies, identify new opportunities, and define technical differentiators. Key Requirements & Skills Experience: Proven experience in pre-sales consulting, system engineering, or technical sales, often within SI/ICT sectors. Datacenter & Networking Knowledge: Deep understanding of IP Networking (BGP, MPLS), Virtualization (VMware/Citrix), Storage (SAN/NAS), and Cloud (AWS/Azure). Technical Certifications: Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent data center technologies. Soft Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Common Technologies in Scope Networking: Routing & Switching, SDN, SD-WAN, Wireless, Metro Ethernet.
