About the Role

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Zone Chef to oversee and streamline kitchen operations across multiple outlets. This role focuses on consistency, quality control, team performance, and cost efficiency across all assigned locations. The ideal candidate is operationally strong, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple kitchens without compromising standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Multi-Outlet Kitchen Oversight Supervise daily kitchen operations across assigned outlets Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning across all locations Conduct regular outlet visits and audits 2. Quality & SOP Enforcement Implement and monitor adherence to SOPs, recipes, and cooking standards Identify gaps and train teams to maintain brand consistency Ensure all outlets meet hygiene and food safety standards 3. Team Management & Training Train, mentor, and upskill outlet chefs and kitchen staff Support hiring and onboarding of kitchen team members Drive discipline, productivity, and team performance 4. Cost Control & Inventory Monitor food cost, wastage, and variance across outlets Ensure proper inventory management and stock control Work closely with procurement for standardization and vendor management 5. Menu Execution Ensure proper execution of menu across outlets Support in new menu rollouts and product launches Standardize recipes and preparation processes 6. Reporting & Coordination Share regular reports on kitchen performance, challenges, and improvements Coordinate with central kitchen / leadership team for process improvements Act as a bridge between management and outlet kitchen teams Requirements - Improving existing menu items - Ensuring all brand SOPs are always adhered to by your subordinates - Kitchen efficiency, wastage reduction, cost control - Planning dispatch from Central kitchen to outlets - Working along with purchasing and stores dept to reduce sourcing costs - Hiring, training and monitoring of central kitchen and outlet teams - Hygience, cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen areas across outlets - High level of attention to detail to preserve the quality of food - Review customer feedback regularly and take corrective actions - Ensure the team is motivated and positive - You will be reporting to our Chef Partner, Chef Gurudath Shivapooja on all matters and will have regular interactions with management as well.
