Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle HCM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Payroll, Oracle Time & Labor (OTL), and Workforce Scheduling . This role involves end-to-end ownership of solution design, implementation, optimization, and support of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions in global environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong consulting mindset, functional expertise, and stakeholder management capability to deliver scalable and compliant workforce solutions. Key Responsibilities 1. Functional & Solution Design Lead end-to-end functional design across Payroll, OTL, and Workforce Scheduling Translate complex business requirements into scalable HCM solutions Prepare BRDs, FDDs, process flows (As-Is / To-Be) Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend Oracle best practices 2. Payroll & Compliance Configure payroll elements, balances, costing, and taxation Manage statutory compliance and country-specific payroll localization Ensure adherence to labor laws and tax regulations Support parallel runs, payroll validation, and reconciliation 3. Time & Labor / Workforce Scheduling Configure time entry rules, approval workflows, and absence integrations Implement shift scheduling, labor demand planning, workforce optimization Design solutions for overtime, shift premiums, and compliance tracking 4. Integrations & Technical Collaboration Collaborate with technical teams on: HCM Extracts, HDL, REST/SOAP APIs Support data migration and system integrations Validate integration design and ensure data accuracy and consistency 5. Testing & Deployment Lead SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution Prepare test cases, scenarios, and documentation Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities 6. Stakeholder Management Work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and business teams Conduct workshops, demos, and training sessions Act as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders 7. Support & Continuous Improvement Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation Stay updated with Oracle quarterly releases and enhancements Required Skills & Experience Core Functional Skills Strong hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud (Payroll, OTL, Workforce Scheduling) Expertise in end-to-end payroll lifecycle (pre, during, post payroll) Deep understanding of time, attendance, and workforce scheduling frameworks Experience in multi-country / global payroll implementations Technical & Tooling Knowledge Hands-on experience with: Fast Formulas HCM Extracts HDL (HCM Data Loader) BI Reports / OTBI Understanding of integrations: REST / SOAP APIs Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Exposure to data migration, reporting, and analytics Consulting & Delivery Skills Strong experience in requirement gathering and solution design Expertise in fit-gap analysis and optimization Experience working in Agile / Waterfall environments Behavioral Competencies Analytical Thinking – Ability to structure complex payroll/workforce problems Problem Solving – Deliver scalable and practical solutions Stakeholder Management – Confident interaction with senior stakeholders Communication Skills – Strong client-facing communication Attention to Detail – High accuracy in compliance-sensitive areas Ownership & Accountability – End-to-end responsibility for deliverables Adaptability – Comfortable in fast-paced environments Collaboration – Strong team player Client-Centric Mindset – Focus on business-driven outcomes Preferred Qualifications Oracle HCM Cloud Certification(s) Experience in global payroll / multi-country rollouts Exposure to Oracle quarterly release management Experience in automation or digital transformation initiatives
