Role Description The Host/Hostess position at Urban Gluttony Co. is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. Responsibilities include warmly greeting guests, managing reservations, guiding seating arrangements, and ensuring an inviting and organized dining environment. The Host/Hostess will also coordinate with the service team, maintain guest records, assist with guest queries, and handle any special seating requests. The role involves proactive support to enhance customer satisfaction and deliver a memorable dining experience. Qualifications Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to warmly engage guests and manage inquiries. Proficiency in Customer Service with the ability to address patron needs and deliver excellent experiences. Basic understanding of Food & Beverage operations and practices in a restaurant setting. Experience in Training and guiding team members is a plus. Sales abilities to promote specials or reservations and contribute to guest satisfaction. Professional demeanor, a friendly attitude, and strong organizational skills. Fluency in English and Tamil is preferred. Additional language skills are a plus. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
