About the Role
As a Software Development Engineer (SDE) intern at 1Fi, you will be working on developing and maintaining the company's software applications. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and test software components using various programming languages and technologies. You will also be involved in the deployment and maintenance of software systems, ensuring they meet the required quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software components using JavaScript, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software requirements.
- Implement REST APIs using Node.js, Expressjs, and Next.js frameworks.
- Deploy and maintain software systems using Docker and DevOps practices.
- Contribute to the development of new features and bug fixes in the company's software applications.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest improvements and innovations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Node.js, Expressjs, and Next.js frameworks.
- Familiarity with Docker and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and API design principles.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
