About the Role

As a Medical Coding specialist for a Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, or Microbiologist, you will be responsible for accurately assigning medical codes to patient records, procedures, and diagnoses. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding systems. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient coding practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign accurate and consistent medical codes to patient records, procedures, and diagnoses
• Review and analyze medical records to identify coding errors or inconsistencies
• Develop and maintain knowledge of medical coding systems, including ICD-10 and CPT

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Microbiology, or a related field
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding systems
• Experience with medical coding software and systems, including ICD-10 and CPT
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
