About the Role

This Software Engineer Intern role at AI Startup Impact is an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to the growth of the AI startup ecosystem. As a member of our engineering team, you will work closely with product, design, and content teams to build scalable web applications, automation tools, and AI-powered features.

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining responsive web applications and platform features, collaborating with designers and product teams to transform ideas into functional products, and assisting in developing AI-powered tools, automation workflows, and internal dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications and platform features.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Collaborate with designers and product teams to transform ideas into functional products.
• Assist in developing AI-powered tools, automation workflows, and internal dashboards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Work with databases and backend systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Skills & Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, or modern web development frameworks.
• Understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Git, GitHub, and software development best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
