Accountant/ Accounts Executive

About the Role

An Accountant/ Accounts Executive at Alive Career will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax laws. This role involves day-to-day tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in using Tally ERP and GST.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries as required.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field.
• Proficient in using Tally ERP and GST.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
