Business Research Analyst - I, RBS Tech

About the Role

As a Business Research Analyst at Amazon Alliance, you'll be working closely with senior scientists and engineers to develop, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models and large language model (LLM) inferences. Your primary responsibility will be to implement classical ML models and LLM-based inferences to solve defined problems, contributing to model development, evaluation, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement machine learning models (classical ML covering classification and regression models) using Python and ML frameworks.
• Develop and iterate prompts for LLMs using few-shot, CoT, and instruction-based techniques.
• Conduct offline evaluations and benchmarking/testing on LLM and ML outputs.
• Collaborate with engineers to deploy models in production and monitor performance.
• Document experiments and results; participate and brief milestones in weekly sprint planning and model reviews.
• Develop scoped ML components with guidance.
• Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantitative or STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
• Strong hands-on programming skills in Python, SQL.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to creatively solve business problems.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts, including developing models and tuning hyper-parameters.
• Technical expertise in AI/ML and GenAI.
• Experience with data modeling and data pipeline design.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design.
• Experience with statistical analysis and co-relation analysis.
