Trainee - Web QA

About the Role

As a Trainee - Web QA at Amura Marketing Technologies, you will be responsible for testing web applications to identify bugs and defects, ensuring they meet the required quality standards. Your day-to-day tasks will involve creating and executing test cases, debugging issues, and collaborating with the development team to resolve problems. You will also be involved in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of web applications to identify bugs and defects
• Create and execute test cases to ensure thorough coverage of application functionality
• Debug issues and collaborate with the development team to resolve problems
• Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Methodologies
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Identify and report defects to the development team
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products

Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies
• Experience with web application testing and test automation tools
• Strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and SQL
• Ability to create and execute test cases using test automation tools
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
