Coordinator - Patient Care Services

About the Role

As a Coordinator - Patient Care Services at Apollo BGS Hospitals, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient care services by effective coordination. This involves minimizing wait times for patients to see consultants, coordinating admissions and discharges, and ensuring that doctors have the necessary amenities in their rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with doctors and patients to ensure smooth OPD and OT procedures.
• Monitor scheduling of patients and ensure timely appointments.
• Coordinate admissions and discharges, providing proper counseling to patients.
• Ensure that doctor requirements are met, including basic amenities in their rooms.
• Coordinate with OPD coordinators to ensure availability of necessary stationery and equipment.
• Provide information to patients if doctors are late or stuck with a procedure.
• Minimize wait times for patients to see consultants.

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. nursing, healthcare administration).
• Ability to work with electronic medical records and appointment scheduling software.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
