Software Tester

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying and documenting software defects, and collaborating with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about finding bugs, improving user experience, and delivering high-quality software. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from web and mobile applications to software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases based on project requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure application stability.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide quality-related feedback.
• Maintain test documentation and reports.

Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts.
• Knowledge of Manual Testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC.
• Understanding of bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Understanding of Automation Testing (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) is an added advantage.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
