About the Role

As a Purchase cum Stores Incharge, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire purchase and stores operations at our Bavla location. This involves coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. You will be the point of contact for all purchase-related queries and will be expected to maintain excellent communication with the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase orders, track inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and other terms.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and review purchase reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to purchasing and stores operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve operational efficiency and cost savings.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide the stores team.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel to analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory management and purchase orders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of email communication and correspondence.
