About the Role

As an Engineer Development at Aptean, you will be working on the development of software applications using AI tools and technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and test software applications, ensuring they meet the required standards and are delivered on time. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and work closely with other engineers to ensure seamless integration of AI models and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications using AI tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
• Work closely with other engineers to ensure seamless integration of AI models and tools.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and efficiency.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to ensure smooth application performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AI tools and technologies, and recommend improvements to existing processes and tools.

Skills & Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in software development and working with AI tools.
• Proficient in coding and debugging in at least one programming language.
• Hands-on experience with AI models (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini).
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cline, V0, Windsurf etc).
• Familiarity with VS Code IDE is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies.
