Jr Accountant

About the Role

As a Jr Accountant at Arena ITsoft Consultancy, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining the company's financial records. Your primary focus will be on cash flow management, reconciliation, and MIS reporting. You will work closely with the finance team to identify areas for cost control and implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow, ensure timely payments, and maintain a healthy cash reserve.
• Perform daily reconciliation of accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare and present MIS reports to stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
• Conduct thorough scrutiny of ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Process invoices, manage accounts payable, and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Update and maintain the company's ERP system, Tally ERP, to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Assist in preparing tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and other accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of taxation and accounting principles.
