About the Role

In this role, you will be working with a team to analyze and interpret biological data, applying bioinformatics and biochemistry principles to drive medical coding and billing solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical coding systems, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and interpret biological data, identifying trends and patterns that inform coding decisions.
• Apply bioinformatics and biochemistry principles to drive medical coding and billing solutions, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients and healthcare organizations.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coding and billing processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of medical coding systems, including CPT and ICD10 CM.
• Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and software, such as BLAST, GenBank, and PubMed.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex biological data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends in medical coding and billing.
