About the Role
This Credit Risk or Fraud Risk Strategy role involves analyzing and mitigating potential risks associated with credit and fraud in various business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
As a key member of the risk management team, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks, as well as developing and implementing strategies to mitigate them. You will also be involved in data analysis and reporting, using tools such as SAS, SQL, and Tableau to drive data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement credit risk and fraud risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and assess risks associated with credit and fraud, identifying areas of high risk and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and compliance, to ensure effective risk management and minimize potential losses.
- Develop and maintain risk policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting using tools such as SAS, SQL, and Tableau to drive data-driven decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring the company remains compliant and competitive.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to drive business decisions.
- Experience with risk management tools and software, such as SAS, SQL, and Tableau.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Certifications in risk management or a related field, such as the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation.
