About the Role
As a Bank and Transaction Reconciliation Specialist at BCD Travel, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and identifying discrepancies. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to resolve issues and provide timely updates to stakeholders. You will work closely with the finance team to maintain financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of financial data to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions, including bank statements and ERP/SAP data.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders, including finance team members and management, to provide timely updates on reconciliation status and any issues identified.
- Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to provide visibility into financial performance and trends.
- Collaborate with the finance team to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide support for financial audits and ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 0-4 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, such as SAP, and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Certification in accounting or finance, such as CPA or CMA, is a plus.
