About the Role: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting & Bookkeeping Assistant to support the daily accounting and administrative functions of our insurance agency. This position is ideal for someone with accounting knowledge, strong organizational skills, and experience working with financial data. Responsibilities: Process and record accounts payable transactions Enter, review, and maintain financial information in QuickBooks Prepare and send customer invoices Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment follow-up Perform data entry and process accounting-related documentation Organize vendor records, invoices, receipts, and payment information Reconcile accounts and help identify discrepancies Assist with commission, payment, and transaction records Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical files Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed | Requirements: Must be able to work in person at our Tampa office near International Plaza Reliable attendance and professional demeanor Ability to work independently while collaborating with the accounting and operations teams
