QA Engineer - Engineering

About the Role

As a QA Engineer - Engineering at Blue Ocean Management Training, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
• Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business requirements.
• Conduct Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Perform API testing to validate request/response functionality and data accuracy.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before production releases.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide inputs from a quality assurance perspective.
• Maintain test documentation, defect reports, and testing status reports.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-1 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
• Strong experience in developing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Hands-on experience in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Working knowledge of API Testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
• Experience in testing mobile applications (Android and/or iOS).
• Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
