About the Role

As a Shopify Developer at BM Consulting Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for creating and customizing e-commerce solutions for clients using Shopify's platform. This role involves developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Shopify websites to ensure they meet client requirements and adhere to e-commerce best practices.

You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to implement Shopify themes and features, and stay up-to-date with Shopify's latest features and trends in e-commerce development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites and e-commerce solutions
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to implement Shopify themes and features
• Customize and optimize Shopify themes to meet client requirements
• Integrate third-party apps and plugins to enhance website functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Shopify websites
• Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks on Shopify websites
• Ensure website performance, security, and SEO best practices are adhered to

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a portfolio showcasing Shopify projects
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and liquid (Shopify's templating language)
• Knowledge of responsive web design and mobile-first development
• Familiarity with Shopify themes and template customization
• Experience with Shopify Plus is a plus
• Ability to work with third-party APIs and integrate plugins
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, including SEO and UX/UI principles
