Network Analytics Advisor

About the Role

The Network Analytics Advisor plays a critical role in supporting bp's network expansion and portfolio management strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, business strategy, and the ability to execute growth plans for bp's retail and operational network.

You will assist with network growth activities to support the company's portfolio management, working cross-functionally with various teams, including finance, operations, real estate, and operations, to ensure that the portfolio is properly being maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously refine a store growth strategy aligned with bp's objectives, prioritizing opportunities across formats and channels of trade.
• Enhance and maintain network planning tools and reporting, ensuring they are scalable, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with business needs.
• Deliver regular performance insights through data analysis, identifying trends and providing actionable recommendations to improve outcomes.
• Provide market, customer, and demand insights, including segmentation and forecasting, to inform growth and expansion decisions.
• Build and sustain automated, user-friendly reporting and dashboards that enable timely, accurate decision-making.
• Partner with Finance to track post-opening performance, measure delivery against business cases, and recommend actions to optimize results.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and data-driven skills, with the ability to use data to measure success, learn, iterate, and improve.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly, engage stakeholders, and drive consensus across teams.
• Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and business strategy.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, including Alteryx and Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI) Data Visualization.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams, including finance, operations, real estate, and operations.
