Data Analyst (AI & Business Intelligence)

About the Role

This Data Analyst (AI & Business Intelligence) role at BruntWork involves working closely with the Operations team and Insurance Manager to transform data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will analyze large volumes of insurance claims and operational data, identify business trends, and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency across the organization.

As a Data Analyst, you will work on analyzing complex datasets, developing meaningful reports and dashboards, and providing actionable insights to management. You will also be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), producing regular business performance reports, and translating complex data into clear recommendations that support operational and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large volumes of insurance claims, operational, and business performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop meaningful reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights to management.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce regular business performance reports.
• Translate complex datasets into clear recommendations that support operational and strategic decisions.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Airtable, or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Develop automated reports that improve visibility into operational performance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and data analysis techniques.
• Experience using SQL for querying and managing datasets.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Airtable, or similar visualization tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment.
