About the Role

As a Cloud Engineering Professional - Access & Security at BT, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless access management and data protection for the organization. Your day-to-day tasks will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks, implementing robust access controls, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure, including identity and access management (IAM) systems, to ensure seamless access and data protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain robust access controls, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), to prevent unauthorized access to cloud resources.
• Implement and manage data loss prevention (DLP) policies to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure secure coding practices and identify potential security vulnerabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security threats and technologies, and recommend improvements to the cloud security posture.
• Develop and maintain documentation of cloud security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cloud security concepts, including identity and access management (IAM), data loss prevention (DLP), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Experience with cloud security platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Defender.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, for automating cloud security tasks.
• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and regulations, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on access management and data protection.
• Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
