About the Role
As a Front End Developer at Capgemini, you will be responsible for crafting engaging user interfaces and experiences for our clients' web applications. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining the front-end components, ensuring seamless integration with back-end services, and optimizing the overall performance of the application.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be expected to collaborate on design, development, and testing phases to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the clients' requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop front-end components using React.js, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience.
- Implement state management using Redux Toolkit and/or Zustand, and optimize application performance through caching and retry strategies.
- Work with Next.js for server-side rendering, static site generation, and incremental static regeneration.
- Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs, integrating with micro-frontends using Module Federation architecture.
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to drive innovation and improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with React.js, including functional components, hooks, context API, error boundaries, portals, Suspense, and routing with React Router.
- Practical knowledge of Next.js, including server-side rendering, static site generation, and incremental static regeneration.
- Familiarity with state management using Redux Toolkit and/or Zustand.
- Experience with REST and GraphQL API consumption, caching, and retry strategies.
- Understanding of Module Federation architecture for micro-frontends.
- UI styling with SASS/SCSS and component-driven development patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
