With a highly skilled and diverse team, Ceres India drives efficiency and delivers exceptional support services across global operations.   Key Responsibilities Application Development & Support Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software, web, or application-based solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code under the guidance of senior team members. Support backend, frontend, database, API, and integration-related development tasks as required. Testing, Debugging & Quality Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve basic application issues. Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation. Follow coding standards, security practices, and software development best practices. Collaboration & Delivery Collaborate with developers, QA, designers, and project teams to complete assigned tasks. Learn and apply new programming languages, frameworks, tools, and technologies as required. Contribute to project-based development tasks during onboarding and training. Required Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience 0–3 year of experience in software development, internship experience would be preferred. Candidates should be willing to work from office in an onsite role. Technical Skills Knowledge of at least one programming language such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP, or similar. Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. Basic knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or similar. Familiarity with databases and basic SQL queries. Basic understanding of APIs and software development concepts. Familiarity with Git or any version control system is preferred. Soft Skills Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong willingness to learn and work in a team. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to take feedback and improve continuously. Preferred Qualifications Candidates who have completed an internship in software development will be preferred. Experience with academic, freelance, internship, or personal development projects. Exposure to frameworks or platforms such as .NET, React, Angular, Node.js, Django, Laravel, Spring Boot, or similar. Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices. Familiarity with debugging tools and development environments. Basic knowledge of cloud platforms is a plus.
