Software Engineer, Mobile Application Development

About the Role

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities include:

• Working closely with engineers across the company to develop the best technical design and strategy
• Owning the delivery of various timelines, ensuring that key milestones are met and deliveries are of the highest quality
• Adapt to changing priorities and ambiguities which may arise from complex, cutting-edge and industry disrupting initiatives
• Collaborate with other non-technical stakeholders of the business which includes Product Managers, Designers, Marketing etc.

What You'll Need

• Degree / Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• Strong fundamentals on software development
• Having actively worked on open source projects would be a plus
• Experience on the following: React (Typescript), React Native, Swift / Objective-C (iOS), Kotlin / Java (Android), Go, Node
• Strong proficiency with React framework (i.e. React lifecycle, hooks, state management)
• Experience with Expo, Webpack and mobile-first CI/CD tools (e.g. Bitrise, etc.) is preferred
• Keen eye for mobile UI/UX development and experience with styling frameworks (e.g. Stylesheet, other open-source frameworks like Nativewind) would be beneficial
• Familiarity on RESTful web applications
• Data instrumentation fundamentals
• Passionate about delivering quality work ahead of time
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Team player
