This is a Summer Internship opportunity for a Software Engineer at Cisco in Bengaluru, India.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will:

• Develop software consistent with Cisco's Design Thinking Principles.
• Build applications that make technology accessible to people on a variety of devices.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products.
• Collaborate effectively with own team.
• Contribute to small projects and work with others on small features primarily focused on coding and testing.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering.
• Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages like Python.
• Fundamentals of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, concepts of routing, switching.
• Ability to think towards scaling applications to the cloud.
• Strong testing inclination to ensure programs are comprehensive and well tested for all use cases.
