Job Description
About the Role
As a Frontend Engineer at CloudSEK, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining the user interface and user experience of our cutting-edge cybersecurity products. This involves writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code using JavaScript, React, and other frontend technologies. You'll work closely with our development team to identify and solve complex problems, and contribute to the development of our product suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop the user interface and user experience of our cybersecurity products using React and other frontend technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and solve complex problems.
- Contribute to the development of our product suite, including CloudSEK XVigil, BeVigil, and SVigil.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our products.
- Work with the design team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of user experience and design.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong programming skills with expertise in frontend development.
- Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented JavaScript (OOJS), JavaScript libraries, and their practical application in building complex interactive experiences.
- Experience working with ReactJS, including understanding of stateful (container) vs. stateless (presentational) components and how to break applications into reusable components.
- Understanding of different CSS architectures that go hand in hand with ReactJS application development.
- Basic familiarity with prevailing frontend technologies such as Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS.
- Understanding of Webpack, Babel, and Sass.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
