Security Consultant Intern

About the Role

In this role, you'll work closely with our security consulting and research team to gain hands-on experience with our core platform, XVigil, and other security tools. You'll be responsible for performing vulnerability assessments, triaging findings, and feeding that experience back into product development. You'll also track the threat landscape, run HUMINT/OSINT collection, and build automation scripts to cut down redundant manual steps.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability assessments (VAPT) across web, API, mobile, and cloud
• Triage findings surfaced by BeVigil/SVigil and turn them into concrete, prioritized issues
• Track the threat landscape across the Americas and monitor underground/dark web feeds
• Run HUMINT/OSINT collection, infrastructure hunting, and C2 mapping
• Build or use automation scripts to cut down redundant manual steps in research, triage, and reporting
• Research exposed credentials, misconfigurations, leaked assets, and attack surface findings
• Help build client-facing deliverables, such as trial summaries and responsible disclosure reports

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong interest in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or security research
• Working knowledge of VAPT methodology across at least two of: web, API, mobile, cloud
• Familiarity with core concepts: CVEs, IOCs, TTPs, exposed credentials, attack surface management, OSINT, HUMINT
• Comfortable reading technical documentation (APIs, specs, security reports) and writing clearly about what it means
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Proficiency in C programming language
• Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and applications in cybersecurity
• Understanding of Supply Chain Risk Management concepts
