About the Role
As a WordPress Developer at Coditron Technologies, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, migrating websites from other platforms to WordPress, and optimizing page speed of WordPress sites. You will work with a knowledgeable and dedicated team to create world-class products.
This role requires a strong understanding of WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, as well as experience with WordPress plugin and theme development, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and provide maintenance support for WordPress sites.
- Develop custom themes and plugins for WordPress.
- Migrate websites from other platforms to WordPress.
- Optimize page speed of WordPress sites.
- Build WordPress products like plugins, themes with state-of-the-art code quality.
- Test solutions across multiple browsers and platforms in a local testing environment.
- Transform complex PSD layouts into pixel-perfect presentation layer HTML5/CSS3 templates.
Skills & Qualifications
- Expert skills in PHP, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, and WordPress.
- Knowledge of WordPress plugin and theme development.
- A clear understanding of WordPress Actions and Filters.
- Must know the way around object-oriented PHP programming.
- Excellent understanding of concepts such as OOP, Namespace, Traits & Design Patterns.
- Ability to extend interfaces with JavaScript.
- Good understanding of User Experience.
- Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles.
- Debugging knowledge for a wide range of browsers and devices.
- Team-oriented behavior and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
