PE-Loan Servicing

About the Role

As a PE-Loan Servicing professional at Cognizant, you will be responsible for managing the entire loan servicing lifecycle, from origination to payoff. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely and accurate processing of loan payments, escrow disbursements, and investor reporting.

Day-to-day tasks may include reviewing loan documents, verifying borrower information, and maintaining accurate records in our database. You will also be required to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, such as loan officers and investors, to resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process loan documents, including loan applications, credit reports, and title reports.
• Verify borrower information, including income, employment, and credit history.
• Manage escrow accounts, including disbursing funds and reconciling statements.
• Generate investor reports, including loan performance and cash flow statements.
• Maintain accurate records in our database, including loan status, payment history, and investor information.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including loan officers and investors, to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Participate in quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of loan servicing processes and procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in loan servicing or a related field.
