About the Role

As a Developer at Cognizant Softvision, you will be working with cutting-edge technologies like Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and PySpark to drive innovative solutions in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement data solutions that optimize data processing and storage, and enhance data analytics capabilities.

With a hybrid work model and day shifts, you will contribute to impactful projects that enhance our offerings and benefit society. You will be part of a cross-functional team that designs and executes Databricks Workflows to streamline data operations, and collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data solutions using Databricks SQL and Delta Lake to optimize data processing and storage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute Databricks Workflows that streamline data operations.
• Utilize PySpark to enhance data analytics capabilities and support complex data transformations.
• Analyze and interpret data within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain to provide actionable insights.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing robust validation and monitoring processes.
• Contribute to the development of scalable data architectures that support business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and Workflows.
• Proficiency in PySpark and its application in data processing and analytics.
• Domain expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate certification.
• PySpark Certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
