Software Test Engineer (QA) – Fresher

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with our development team to identify and report defects, and collaborate with them to resolve these issues.

Your primary focus will be on testing our software applications, identifying bugs and defects, and working with the development team to resolve these issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.
• Execute test cases to identify bugs and defects in our software applications.
• Collaborate with the development team to resolve defects and improve the overall quality of our software applications.
• Document and report defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure that the code meets the required quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes.
• Contribute to the development of testing frameworks and tools to improve the overall quality of our software applications.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Experience with REST APIs and web services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
